Fun Facts
We understand time-constraints around mid-terms (and the stress that comes with that!).
Maria Pringle, ARNP

“My goal is to empower the students so that they develop healthy habits for a life time. When they are ill or suffering from an injury I give them the tools and information they need to most effectively care for themselves and be successful in their studies.”
Maria Pringle, ARNP, grew up in northeastern Ohio. She strives to empower her patients to care for themselves and understand their health, illness and injuries based on an evidence based approach.
Prior to coming to Iowa State, Maria practiced at an urgent care clinic and “fast track” in an emergency department. These experiences led her to Thielen Student Health Center. She enjoys the opportunity to work with a wellness focused population and being a part of an organization that focuses on excellence and putting the patient’s needs first.
Maria and her husband have been married over 30 years and have three children in college. As time allows, she enjoys desktop publishing, gardening and camping.
