Carver Nebbe, MD, originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Iowa State. He returned to join Thielen Student Health Center because of his strong connection to Iowa State and a desire to give back to the school and its community.
Dr. Nebbe served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Poland before going to medical school. He also lived and worked in Russia for a year as a Fulbright Scholar following his residency program. He speaks Russian and Polish.
Dr. Nebbe and his wife have three boys. He feels that an emphasis on healthy lifestyle is essential in both physical and mental health.
