James Bice, DO, FAAFP

Iowa State students are very educated and receptive to the latest evidence-based medicine care options. They are motivated to learn and proactive in their health. I learn something new everyday working with them as a partner in their health care.”

James Bice, DO, FAAFP

James Bice, DO, FAAAP, grew up on his family’s farm near Woodward, Iowa. He obtained his medical degree in Iowa and then moved to Michigan for several internships.

From working in emergency departments and free clinics, to urban practices and rural medicine, Dr. Bice is proud to be a part of Thielen Student Health Center.

He enjoys educating students on the way to care for their illness/injury and empowers them to take an active role to their healthcare. Their desire to learn and be educated on the newest information and study findings make them very receptive to the latest evidence based care practices.
