Fun Facts
Our healthcare providers care for students – that’s our specialty.
Brittni Reifschneider, ARNP

“I really enjoy meeting the students and assisting them in improving their health and wellness. I’m grateful for the relationships I have developed with them during their experience here at Iowa State.”
Brittni Reifschneider, ARNP, grew up in a small town in eastern Iowa. She spent several years working as a nurse in critical care including Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care and Cardiology. Upon completion of her family nurse practitioner certification, Brittni decided it was time for a change. She found herself at Thielen Student Health Center working with students. She enjoys educating her patients about taking care of their health during stressful times and allowing themselves the opportunity to maximize their potential.
As with several providers at TSHC, Brittni finds it important to acknowledge that every person is different. She values the fact that while the same incidence can occur to two individuals, the experience can be completely different.
Brittni is married with two children. In her free time you can find her enjoying the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
