Research from the CDC shows that condom distribution is an effective form of reducing sexually transmitted disease on college campuses. Student Wellness and Thielen Student Health Center distribute over 80,000 free condoms on campus every year as a way to make Iowa State a safer place for our students.
Condom Distribution
Condoms are distributed:
- In residence halls or Greek chapters
- Supplied with condoms upon request (Fill out our online Condom Request Form)
- At Student Health Administration during business hours
- Student can get up to 10 free condoms per visit
- Latex-free condoms are available by request
- In Student Health restrooms and exam rooms during business hours
- Student can get up to 10 free condoms per visit
Online Condom Request Form for Groups
To request condoms and other safer sex supplies in large quantities for your groups, fill out Student Wellness’ online Condom Request Form.
On the form you can request standard lubricated latex condoms, flavored condoms, dental dams, and/or water-based lubricant. Student Wellness, located in Friley Hall will now be fulfilling these orders.
If you need non-latex condoms, please stop by the Administration office located on the second floor of Thielen Student Health Center, and we will give you a supply of non-latex condoms. Thank you!
