Laura Moeller, MD

“I’m pleased to have the opportunity to influence students to make healthy lifestyle choices and develop life-long health habits.”
Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa State is the alma mater for Laura Moeller, MD, who earned both her bachelor’s and master’s here. Although she completed med school at the University of Iowa, she will always be a cyclone! She appreciates the energy of the ISU students and the opportunity to help them develop lifelong healthy habits.
Prior to joining Thielen, Dr. Moeller has worked in a variety of family medicine roles. From practicing suburban outpatient family medicine, serving all ages (infants through elderly), doing preventative and chronic care visits, and performing a variety of office procedures (like placing long-acting birth control devices) to delivering babies, making hospital rounds in a rural setting, and moonlighting in an emergency trauma center, Dr. Moeller has had a variety of clinical experiences.
Dr. Moeller enjoys spending her spare time with her three daughters and husband and doing a lot of swimming, bicycling, and running, as she’s an avid triathlete.
